Publication in Community Literacy Journal

This is our latest article, co-authored with Raj K. Baral, PhD, titled “Cultivating Sustainability Literacies Through Indigenous Land Stewardship: Some Insights from Nepal,” published in the print version of Community Literacy Journal (CLJ), Issue 20.1, Fall 2025.

This project, which began in late 2024, is deeply personal to me, as it draws on the foundational work of my dissertation on “Indigenous Environmental Justice.” You can currently find the print version on Amazon, and I eagerly anticipate sharing the electronic version upon its release.

A heartfelt thanks to Raj K. Baral for his support throughout this process. I also want to express my gratitude to editors Katie Silvester, Kaylie Fougerousse, Joanna Gordon, and Lydia Nixon, as well as the reviewers, copy editors, and my fellow contributors in this issue. Thank you to the Community Literacy Journal (CLJ) for providing a platform for this important work. And, thanks to my mentor, Dr. Lucía Durá, for always encouraging me to move forward.
